Tentel Tentelometer T2-H18-CBD tape tension gauge — the long-standing industry-standard tool for measuring and setting tape tension in reel-to-reel decks, cassette decks, VCRs, and other tape transports. This is the premium rolling-post version: the three measurement posts ride on bearings and spin freely — unlike the common fixed-post models — for smoother, truer readings and less tape wear while you work.
In good working condition; reads correctly across the grams / ounces tape-tension scale. Made in U.S.A., Serial No. 8163L.
Includes everything needed to put it to work: the fitted hard carrying case, the calibration weight for zeroing the meter, and the original Tentel ‘Tape Tips and Tentelometer’ instruction manual. (Calibrate with the known weight, not at zero, per the manual.)
